This extension is necessary for owners of laptops using firefox on wayland. Existing extensions do not respect the built-in gesture settings in firefox, by contrast. The original developers are not interested in supporting such a small audience, even though there is one. Therefore, I think that this extension will be useful to someone, since it works fine on wayland and has beautiful animations.
