Tally shows a small floating badge the moment you highlight text — word count, characters, and how long it takes to read. No clicking, no copying, no switching tabs. Deselect and it's gone.

WHAT SHOWS UP

📝 Words — counted across your entire selection
🔢 Characters — total including spaces (useful for character limits)
⏱ Read time — estimated from your reading speed setting

READING SPEED

Match the badge to how fast you actually read:

→ 150 WPM — Slow, careful reading
→ 200 WPM — Comfortable average (default)
→ 250 WPM — Fast reader
→ 300 WPM — Rapid / speed reading

Change it anytime from the extension popup.
