Threadwing is one local-first workspace for long ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Doubao conversations.

• ChatGPT starts with a conservative recent-exchange window by default and supports a manual 1–100 exchange window. Native cursor pagination and the provider's bounded virtualizer remain in control of scrolling and message geometry. Threadwing stabilizes compact-to-CodeMirror code hydration without adding another layer of message-height locking. The full observed chat remains available in local Timeline, search, and export. Claude, Gemini, Grok, Kimi, and Doubao add reversible near-viewport page relief; DeepSeek keeps its native virtual list.
• A prompt-first virtual timeline searches readable prompts, answers, reasoning, and tool results, then jumps back to the original message. Long prompts fold into compact previews, replies stay unmounted until opened, and one control expands or collapses every message.
• Search supports quoted phrases and focused filters for role, code, math, images, files, and the active branch where branch data exists. Matches expand and highlight the complete prompt and reply in place.
• Export all messages, prompts only, answers only, or a custom message selection to Markdown, text, versioned JSON, self-contained HTML, or print/PDF. Preserve chat titles, provider and source URLs, available time/model metadata, safe source links, selectable syntax-highlighted code, headings, tables, formulae, and user-selected first-party images. Explicit Kimi exports also collect sources from collapsed web-search results and restore their original collapsed state. Provider copy buttons and code-language controls are not exported as answer text.
• The popup brand opens the official website. An explicit update check for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox shows an immediate checking state and keeps the result visible until the popup closes. Browser throttling and unavailable checks are reported honestly; normal store-managed automatic updates remain enabled.

Threadwing has no backend, account system, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or conversation upload. Conversation data and its search index remain in extension-origin storage on your device.
