1. Click the URL Encoder Decoder Offline icon on the Firefox toolbar.
2. Type or paste text into the input field.
3. Click Encode to create a percent-encoded URL component.
4. Click Decode to restore encoded text.
5. Click Copy Result to copy the output.

The extension uses the browser's built-in URL component encoding and decoding functionality. It is suitable for query values, path segments, search terms, and parameter values.

If the entered text contains an invalid percent-encoded sequence, the extension displays an error instead of changing the content.


URL Encoder Decoder Offline does not collect, store, log, transmit, sell, or share entered text or processed results.

The extension processes only content that the user manually enters or pastes into the popup. It does not inspect open tabs, website content, browsing history, cookies, passwords, network traffic, or account information.


The extension requests no website permissions and uses no content scripts, background scripts, remote code, analytics services, advertising services, or external APIs.

Clipboard access occurs only when the user clicks the copy button.


All encoding and decoding operations run locally inside Firefox. An Internet connection is not required.
