I used to have Video Download Helper but in its latest version it requires an external program, so I've changed by this one which still working from the browser, and I will continue using this one if it stay loyal to that simple principle.

I don't use many extensions but this one here is a must have.

This is a good video downloader especially since it allows downloading of all Vimeo videos. My only issue is that if you rename the video before downloading it, the video downloads as a file. It does not download as a mp4. You have to change the extension to mp4 and then it becomes a video you can actually play.

It's good, if only you could carry on downloading without having the page you're downloading from open

Very good add-on for downloading videos over the net. However I'm concerned regarding the permission request it had during the installation process. Performance wise, downloads are fast and relatively error-free except for random cases where you intended to download one video while multiple tabs are open containing different videos, and it downloads with a specific file name of 1 video however, the content is from the other video. Perhaps this is a bug which will be fixed in future iterations of this add-on.
