It works really well sometimes and then it doesn't download at all. and works on fewer sites than my previous add-on.

easy to use, kinda slow at moments

I installed this extension and my anti-malware software (Malwarebytes) flagged it as a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Since false positives are (for me) a very rare occurence with Malwarebytes, I'd rather not take any chance and just got rid of the extension.

By the way, Video DownloadHelper finally issued a version compatible with Firefox Quantum...

Works Well

Doesn't download on as many sites as the extension i was using before the Quantum update, but works really well on most sites.

I just upgraded to the new Firefox Quantum and was using a different video downloader that was not compatible with this new update so I came across this add on... I am so glad I did.. It works pretty smooth.. Highly recommended! ...

This is really a useful tool for downloading YouTube and Facebook videos

Just updated to Firefox Quantum and my old standby Video DownloadHelper was relegated to legacy status until a new version is available. Clicking on "Find a replacement" led me to Video Downloader Professional . Installed quickly but when I clicked on Options in the Extensions list I got "File not found: Firefox can't find the file at moz-extension://bc627172-939c-4d5c-9189-4105e6f68299/options.html ". Clicking on the homepage as listed goes to a page trying to sell 3 versions of Video Downloader Ultimate from Link64 GmbH (which is a stand-alone windows program) and there is no mention of the Firefox Add-on. Not seeing any videos most of the time enev on YouTube.
Uninstalling now!

Works fine but doesn't default to the last folder saved in. You need to locate the folder every time you download a file.

Does not work. Worked two or three times now does not.

The new version (for Firefox Quantum) doesn't work for me. It downloads a corrupted file that will not run in players. Also, when opening its Options, the following error message appears:

"File not found." The message is longer, but Firefox prohibits copying it.

During download, no progress bar is shown.

There is no way to submit a problem report.

This version seems not to have been tested!
