Does NOT work with YouTube unless you install an EXTERNAL software application (they call it a "companion app"). This is a huge red flag.

EDIT: I changed it from two stars to one. I saw the "companion app" made available on GitHub and ran it through VirusTotal before deciding to install it.

Now, it downloads YouTube videos but re-encodes them (aggregate) which takes about an hour for a five-minute video. Apparently it does this so as to deface the video with a watermark unless you "register" (pay for) a license.

Screw this clown-show.

Requires separate additional app for a plain Youtube download? Seriously?? Wow, just wow. There are so many alternatives without bloatware apps, why this one is promoted by Mozilla?

il y que moi que ca dérange niveau des autorisations ? accéder a vos données de tous les sites web ? donc ca peut enregistrer tous les mots de passes et autres ?? rien que pour ca je ne telecharge pas car d autres font le travail sans toutes ces autorisations ...

Puts watermark on the video after its already finished saving which takes over 3+ hours. Will make you pay $30 to remove it. What a joke!

Requires bloatware extension, and when a file is downloaded it adds a watermark. I appreciate you want my money - offer a trial period first. I have no idea if your app actually works if you gatekeep it behind a paywall.

Wants a "companion app" to be installed for every video I tried, so 100% failure. If I'm going to install some bloatware, I'll just use a vastly superior separate app in the first place, such as Media Downloader 2.8.0.
