Although i have been using this addon exclusively to download into mp3 format, this addon is very easy to use and gets the job done.

I have encountered a flaw, where eg on youtube it will download the video previous to the current video playing, however duplicating a tab or opening a video in a different tab with middle click seems to solve it.

All in all, very happy man.

Sketchy as hell.
Too many permissions, requires a third party companion app to be installed, which they have to specify that it is definitely safe (with a smiley...). Loves to add watermarks to your downloaded videos to pressure you into paying for a license, even though most of the tools their use are third party open source programs they have nothing to do with.

This add-on works very well. It keeps being improved also. Used to be a bit hit and miss, but now it's great. Very easy to use also.

Used to be free, they have added a massive QR code blocking a third of the screen unless you pay for their license.

I find Video Download Helper essential for downloading certain types of videos without it you would struggle to find another down loader. I wouldn't trust any other app or add-on. I have used it for years and now that it even downloads faster if awesome. You can trust it, I've had now major issues with videos I've brought down using this add-on. Definitely give it ago...

This add-on has greatly improved over the many years I've been using it. Took a short break and came back to what it is now which is brilliant, works like a charm too!
