I've used this add-on for a number of years and it has performed well for me.

It is an excellent add-on that anyone can download with a very simple operation.
It is safe because it is also upgraded.

It works perfectly most of the time, but as of June 8, 2023, it will no longer download Youtube videos. However, I probably have enough by now. It still works with other video sites.

I am not a fan of the new sidebar, I'm just not a fan of stuff taking up screen space.

Sehr gutes Videodownload Tool. Man kann Videos u.a. speichern von fast jeder Seite.
Allerdings ist das Tool so Umfangreich das es ohne ein paar Grundkenntnisse ziemlich aufwendig ist die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten ganz auszunutzen.
Hinweise oder kurze Erklärungen bei den jeweiligen Funktionen oder ein Hilfsverzeichnis wären ziemlich praktisch.
Daher nur vier von fünf Sternen wegen zu "gut" :-)

A very useful extension for extracting videos from sites. However the interface is pretty awful and unintuitive, it requires a companion app to work, and it seems to now be adding a small QR code watermark (I've only noticed this recently, perhaps it's only for longer videos?).

There are other free tools out there that can download video and audio without having to aggregate and watermark them - like JDownloader - so I'll stick with that as much as possible but keep this as a last resort.

Excelente downloader! Gosto que dê várias opções de qualidade e parece ter um bom gerenciamento de fila caso se queira colocar vários vídeos para baixar em sequência. A interface poderia ser melhor, ter talvez uma janela popup mais user friendly e mais facilidade de escolher a pasta de download, em vez de ser uma configuração fixa que precisa ser alterada sempre na página de configurações. Mas, daquilo que se propõe a fazer - baixar vídeos de diferentes sites -, é excelente.

I discovered this add-on over five years, and it still holds the champion title in the category. With the incredible number of website/protocol/format support, the app provides the best successful rate.
For the record, I am not saying this add-on was the perfect solution. A few annoying bugs won't be your problem, but the learning curve about the setting could be a challenge.
