Do not install or support this addon. They now add a QR code to the top left corner of videos that are saved with this extension. That might not sound that bad, but they don't tell you UNTIL AFTER THE VIDEO HAS BEEN DOWNLOADED AND CONVERTED. USE JDOWNLOADER INSTEAD, IT'S FREE AND ISN'T TRYING TO EXTORT MONEY FROM YOU.

with this version it will install an coapp that is based on ffmeg. Will produce an barcode in the downloaded File and will Money to remove it. Earn Money with open source That's not OK. Crippleware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remove it.

I used to love this add-on, but with the latest updates, they removed the ability to save files to my local cloud drive, even thought it is always mapped to every system on my local network. I can no longer even get to my network drives by browsing to the /media directory. Apparently the development is going downhill or the developers just don't care anymore.

If you intend to use this app on a network, like a lot of people do, BEWARE of the extreme limitations of the latest version of this add-on

this extension requires a separate app to be downloaded to your pc in order to operate. It doesn't do what it says on the box.
The user interface is clunky and unintuitive.

Doesn't work on youtube even though it claims to work.

It's okay to ask for money for a project. But when a developer attaches a HUGE QR code to your file and says either pay or look like that, it's not cool bro.

I used the app in the past and it was very helpful, since recently, the companion app is needed and I cannot get it working in Ubuntu 22.04. I've been Linux user for more than 20 years, maybe I'm getting to old for this.

I have been clicking and entering password for the last half hour - just trying to get this add-on. Confusing website, page after page of confusing terminolgy, nicht definite blanks to fill in. Hope the add-on works better than the installation.

Would highly recommend just using YT-DLP

It never download nothing, NOTHING! When you want to download, you are forced to install a PC program (???). It's useless.

Every time I try to use that extension again, it's the same thing.
