Works as advertised, and great for saving bandwidth (i assume, because of reduced bandwidth) for videos on the background, used for music.

To test: once you set it up to change videos to your preferred quality -- try setting a youtube video to different quality, then refresh (quality will auto-change to extension's preference).

It would be easier to use if there was a tool bar button + option to disable video. My use case: attempting to save bandwidth... This extension actually works better for my use case: Audio Only for YouTube™ |

    it works mostly but it keeps resetting itself back to 480p, so it's kinda useless because the whole reason you'd use it is for youtube to STOP defaulting to 480p

    Works fantastic. I'm don't know any technicalities here, but all the resolutions from 144p to 8K selectable as the default at 60fps, and the option for 30fps (although only up to 720p) are baffling for being absent on regular youtube. I don't use official youtube playback often, but when required this addon makes the experience so much more tolerable.

    Does not work, I set quality to 360 and the plugin keeps changing it back to 1080, seems to be no way to play in anything other than 1080, so I'm uninstalling
