Hello!
If you find yourself getting distracted by short videos while working/studying this addon can help you manage what content you are recommended when using Youtube. This addon was originally as a project for my own personal use but please feel free to use this addon yourself if you prefer to be recommended longer form content.

<b>What can YT Shorts Blocker do for you?</b>

<li>Hide all shorts content</li>
<li>Remove shorts button</li>
<li>Work on mobile and desktop</li>
<li>Redirect "/shorts/" to "/watch?v"</li>
</ul>
<i>All settings are configurable in the addon menu.</i>

<b>What data does YT Shorts Blocker collect?</b>
None! This addon will also only be active when you are on https://www.youtube.com/ or https://m.youtube.com/ (unlike similar addons) and does not rely on any background scripts that gobble up memory.

This addon does not prevent you from watching any videos, however it will hide recomendations for short videos. Short videos are not hidden when searching.

Works on both the desktop and mobile versions of Youtube.
