This is NOT an ad blocker, and it doesn't claim to block all kinds of ads. Stop whining that it is not something it never claimed to be in the first place.
That's like underrating a smartphone because it doesn't work well as a hammer. It's stupid and ignorant.
I would suggest to the developer to make it even more obvious that this is not meant to replace a conventional ad-blocker. Maybe put that in CAPS in the description for all the lazy users.
Great tool btw! :-) - Ocena: 4/5Autor: shgysk8zer0, 9 lat temuToo many want to compare this to AdBlock, but they are very different things. This is not intended to block ads, and AdBlock is not intended to protect your privacy. This blocks cookies and/or content from being loaded from third-parties if that third party appears to be tracking you on multiple sites. That happens to have the effect of blocking some ads, but it also blocks analytics, Like/Tweet buttons, tracking pixels, etc.
Would be nice to have controls per content-type. - Ocena: 3/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 11796372, 9 lat temuPrivacy Badger protects you only from spying ads and invisible trackers. If you want to be protected also from all kinds of ads including an anti-adblock killer, want to use famous filter lists like EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe's Ad Server list, and many filters for malware protection, want cosmetic filter, an element picker for pushing away things you don't want to see anymore and to make your own filter rules, want a filter against obtrusive cookie notices, want an ad blocker with very low use of CPU and memory, than you have to take uBlock Origin

- Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 13136012, 9 lat temuEffectively blocks tracking domains and cookies. Didn't find it to interfere at all with my browsing, nor did it break any site I visited.
Being developed and updated by the EFF is a trust warranty, as opposed to other alternatives.
As it is a really non-intrusive and effective addon, I would recommend it for any firefox user, independently of their knowledge level. - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 12828685, 9 lat temuEasy to manage, easy to control, and it works well for sites which break if you disable their add tracking by simply allowing the content but blocking its cookies.
This is your one-stop-shop for privacy (that and HTTPS Everywhere). - Ocena: 2/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 13156043, 9 lat temu

My Problem is that FF is not my browser of choice.
I use the Pale Moon Browser because of it's more friendly, non-Australis, UI, among many other reasons.
Can you please make it compatible for the many many thousands of Pale Moon users too???
We deserve privacy too. Thanks ;) - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Willian, 9 lat temuJust wanted to leave this review here. It's working as intended in Firefox 54. Great job, EFF!

Privacy Badger is a great add-on for privacy-and-security-conscious people to browse the dangerous internet. Privacy Badger does what it says, protects its users.
I wrote the following message to Mozilla:
Firefox is wonderful. Firefox is great, but it would be 'greater' if Firefox has an inbuilt VPN, like the Opera Web Browser. I think Firefox should protect these addons to maintain the healthiness of the browser and improve its rankings among other web browsers:
NoScript Security Suite, Disconnect, BetterPrivacy-signed, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere, Blur, Click&Clean, uBlock Origin, Bluhell Firewall, Self-Destructing Cookies and Random Agent Spoofer
Thank you so much for maintaining the world's most secure web browser. - Ocena: 5/5Autor: Użytkownik Firefoksa 12564382, 9 lat temuHas a simple, intuitive interface, and a built-in feedback form.
