This extension works reliably and preserves both the Like and Dislike buttons, which is a big plus.

However, the dislike counter is displayed well outside the rating buttons, on the far right of the action bar. Functionally it's fine, but visually it feels disconnected from the dislike button and doesn't match YouTube's layout very well.

For comparison:
- Return YouTube Dislike integrates the counter into the button itself, but replaces the dislike icon entirely, so you can't easily see whether you've already disliked a video.
- Dislikes in YouTube™ places the counter exactly where I'd expect it, but unfortunately shifts the whole action bar too far to the left.

At the moment, this extension is probably the best choice if preserving the original buttons matters most to you, although the counter placement could definitely be improved.

Update: Interestingly, using both Return YouTube Dislike and Dislikes in YouTube™ together instead of this extension often produces the best overall result. Unfortunately, the behaviour isn't consistent and sometimes changes after refreshing the page, so I wouldn't consider it a dependable workaround yet.

I was about to give this a huge like. But then I discovered this addon doesn't add it to Shorts.. Despite the screenshots uploaded by the dev. Dislike button is missing. Please patch it and bring it back!

Nutze dieses Addon seit Jahren. Einfach nur super wieder den Dislike Button zu haben.

Works well for normal videos. Its only flaw is that the number sticks out of the dislike icon's container, making it less visible/confusing its meaning. I'm on a Poco F6 (if that helps)

good extension, used to work before but now its broken. please do fix!

Shows the correct total, but number appears outside the UI for likes/dislikes. Not the most grating but could get fixed. This appears on mobile and desktop.

Edit:
After installing your addon, the YT page was complet black. Reload and restart of LibreWolf did not change this. After deaktivating your addon, YT showed up again!

Works great on my android phone! I have missed seeing those dislike counts. I'm glad I found this extension. Thanks for creating it for us

The extension has a language related issue: when using any language other than English, the dislike count doesn't appear. For example, in Spanish, the extension shows nothing as if it's not working at all. However, switching the interface to English restores full functionality

Works on Firefox Mobile

Doesn't work even after refreshing and/or restarting the Browser. I see that the guy answers with "it works on mine , send screenshot on my email" but he didn't resolve the problem anyway so yeah. Pure waste of time.
