Dockii Lite puts a small ghost at the bottom of your browser. It drifts along the edge of the page, looks toward your cursor, and wanders off on its own when you leave it alone. Reach for the bottom of the window and it comes over.

It belongs to the browser, not to the page. Follow a link, reload, or switch tabs, and it is still standing exactly where you left it — one companion per window, not a new one on every page.

It is a toy, and it behaves like one:

• Click it and it hops, with a heart or a spark.
• Stroke back and forth across it and it blushes.
• Pick it up and throw it — it arcs, bounces off the walls, and lands with a bonk. Drop it from high enough and it splats, sees stars, and picks itself back up.
• Leave it be and it eventually curls up for a nap.

Make it yours:

• Five palettes — Classic, Dusk, Mint, Ember and Ink — or set each of the ghost's five colors yourself and save your own.
• A size slider from small to unmissable.
• Turn cursor-following, wandering, or the hearts and sparks off individually.
• Choose when it naps, from one minute to half an hour, or tell it never to.
• Keep it off any site you like — one hostname covers its subdomains too.
• Hide it on touch screens and narrow windows, and hold it still when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Alt+Shift+G hides and shows it. The shortcut is rebindable.
• Export your settings to a plain JSON file, and import them back.

Dockii Lite is the click-and-pet subset of the Dockii desktop ghost. Voice, food, needs and progression live in the native app.

Privacy: no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The extension stores your settings and nothing else — press Export on the options page to read the whole thing. It never reads page content, addresses, or anything you type. The only network request it ever makes is the publisher logo shown at the bottom of the options page.

A note on where it can appear: browsers do not allow extensions to run on their own internal pages, so the ghost cannot appear on the new-tab page, on browser settings pages, in the PDF viewer, or on the extension stores themselves. It is on ordinary web pages, which is everywhere else.
