The new EasyDownloader works well, is quick and easy, all that is needed is to paste in the Youtube URL and in a few moments you will have your file ready to download. Special note to Ubuntu users, 22.04 and 24.04: Ubuntu has left out a necessary library file called FUSE. The fix is here: search "Can't Run AppImage on Ubuntu?" and select the article from It's FOSS.

Use to be a great and I used it all the time. Even purchased the pro version. Anymore, it's useless. Hasn't worked in a year and there has been no recent updates from the developer. Too bad ... I really liked this extension.

As of May 2025, not working on Youtube. So, pointless to install.

Does not work. So many useless extensions.

This extension worked great up until a couple of months ago when it quit. I won't recognize any YouTube videos. As of now it's useless and I haven't seen any upgrades.

Update MONTHS later and it still does not work. I guess the guy took the money and ran away.

Superior utility and support. Easy to use. Make this your must have video down-loader.
Best support from the developer I had in a long time.

Although there are currently serious issues with the core add-on, it is clear the developer is working to fix them, and a separate application that is (at least mostly) functioning is being provided to paid users of this add-on.

Looks great, unfortunately no longer functional ("Download As" button doesn't appear even after repeatedly reloading the video).
