Last updated: June 1, 2026
Echo - Save to Your Feed is a browser extension that lets users save selected images, videos, links, pages, text selections, screenshots, and Pinterest board items to their Echo account at myechoboard.com.
Data the extension collects or transmits:
- Account/authentication information needed to connect the extension to your Echo account.
- Content you choose to save, such as image URLs, video URLs, page URLs, page titles, selected text, screenshots, Pinterest pin descriptions, and board selections.
- Website activity related only to user-initiated save actions, such as the source page URL for an item you save.
The extension does not continuously monitor browsing history and does not transmit pages or website content unless you choose to save something to Echo or use an Echo import/save feature.
How data is used:
- To save selected content to your Echo account.
- To sync saved content, boards, and extension settings across Echo.
- To retry saves if a save fails while you are offline or signed out.
- To provide Echo features such as search, organization, previews, and content analysis.
Local browser storage:
The extension may store your Echo session, selected board, settings, and queued pending saves locally in your browser. Pending saves are transmitted to Echo only when the extension retries or you reconnect your account.
Third-party services:
Echo uses Supabase for authentication, database, and backend services. Echo may use Cloudflare/R2 or similar storage infrastructure for saved media. Echo may use AI service providers, including Google Gemini, to process content you choose to save for features such as search, summaries, and organization. These providers are used only to provide Echo’s service.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share extension data with advertisers. We do not use your saved personal content to train AI models.
Data retention and deletion:
Saved content remains in your Echo account until you delete it or delete your account. Deleted content may remain in trash or backups for a limited period before permanent deletion. You can request deletion or privacy help by contacting us.
