Unfortunately this addon fails reliably on a daily basis for me. It's noticeable in that Shorts often still show up, but it also sometimes does not load properly (I once even had massive icons in the background below the video) or at all (no icons, no custom colors, etc), or it causes massive CPU hog on open YT tabs which also makes any YT function act on a several second delay (even just pausing / unpausing or going fullscreen). Sometimes it helps to completely re-open a new YT tab and close the old one but that's all just temporary until things go south again shortly after.

It is not working anymore! I cant see the toolbar for a few days now!

The only feature I'm really using anymore is the playback speed and that is now miss more than hit.

Overall great but as of Nov 14 there's been a bug with this causing videos/streams to just STOP playing. Not pause, stop. I have to refresh the entire page to make them work again. It works fine on chrome and for firefox I narrowed it down to this extension - everything is fine once I disable this.

Love the extension, but it recently seems to have completely broken. It's probably related to youtube changes, as even UBO has been struggling to block ads. I consider this pretty much essential for watching youtube now, and it always sucks when it breaks like this.

Version 2.0.128 does not block Ads anymore.
The one I have installed on my Firefox browser also keeps randomly "pausing" the video playback and I have to click on Play once and over again

The “Enhancer for YouTube” does not work for my main Google account only.
Sub and spare accounts seem to work 100% of the time.

Empezó bien, pero hace unas semanas que no funciona. Firefox 131.

When it decides to work, it's marginally helpful. However, most of the time no controls show up and it's nonfunctional (reinstalled, cleared cache, did all the usual troubleshooting). Not worth keeping around on the off chance that it'll do what it's supposed to do on a given day.

Cute... Still missing two most imperative function. Download and adRIP! Blocking is too gentle now they started gear up saying "you mf gonna watch a 4m ad for a 20s clip". Well, i hope you pack your lunch cause you're gonna get hit hard. So yeah, it's ripping time!

The addon was working great but as of the last month there's a bug where when you watch a video it will scroll down to the description on its own.

Scroll Bug when automatically opening description still not fixed.

Broken yet again.

Worked flawlessly for years, didn't for months, was fixed for a few more and now it's dead as a dodo again.

It's a shame because it helps with so many basic QoL (like scrolling audio instead of scrolling away from the video) but it clearly isn't reliable for the foreseeable future.

As others have mentioned this is the best addon in this genre but it does not reliably work it seems.

It always works for me in a private window but I have around a 30% success rate when signed in. If I simply clear site data for youtube and remain signed out it works, the second I sign in (and the page reloads) it fails again.

To be clear this isn't "some functionality" is bugged. Its that it seems to be either entirely off or entirely on and I do not know why but it is somehow related to cached site data to a degree.

The idea of the extension is great, and there are many great options to customize the player. That said, as I experience it, often the extension is often not activated.

for some reason this add on ramdomly pauses the videos, probably youtube sabotaging ad blockers but sab them back... otherwise its great.

It was working perfectly until last month. Now every video just pauses and buffers for eternity at some point. When I deactivated the add-on it stopped happening.
It's not a connection thing since I don't have any other problems with my internet otherwise and it's not an adblocker since I deactivated it some time ago and it was still happening. I also cleared the browser completely.
