FCL Weather collects and transmits only the information necessary to retrieve weather data requested by the user and populate designated weather fields.


When the user clicks Fill Weather, FCL Weather sends the project ZIP code entered by the user to the Open-Meteo Geocoding API.

The ZIP code represents the project or job location for which weather information is requested. It does not represent or determine the user's physical or device location.

Open-Meteo returns geographic coordinates for that ZIP code. FCL Weather then sends those coordinates, along with the date selected by the user, to the Open-Meteo weather API to retrieve weather information.

FCL Weather does not access the user's device location.


FCL Weather stores the most recently entered ZIP code in Firefox's local extension storage so that it can be automatically filled the next time the extension is opened.

This information remains in the user's browser and is transmitted only when the user requests weather data.


FCL Weather does not collect or transmit:

• Browsing history
• Account credentials
• Analytics or usage statistics
• Advertising identifiers
• Personal profiles
• Account information
• Data from unrelated websites

FCL Weather does not sell user data or use data for advertising, tracking, or profiling.


Weather and geocoding information is provided by Open-Meteo.

Information sent to Open-Meteo is subject to Open-Meteo's own terms and privacy practices.


This privacy policy may be updated if the functionality or data practices of FCL Weather change.
