Data: 3 lata temuTo make it work on new tab you need to set your new tab to a custom URL in Firefox either about:blank or any website of your liking. Unfortunately this is the only way.

It doesn't work on some tabs, e.g. extension tabs which I'm using a lot. But there's no way for dev to work around that, its FF limitation, so 5 stars anyway.
