For me, the addon works on Windows and Linux. However, it is true that a few changes came with FF 59. Can you please open an issue here? https://github.com/Robbendebiene/Gesturefy/issues

Hey, nice to hear that you enjoy the addon.
If by "open chronik" you mean opening the sidebar or the popup, then this is sadly currently not possible with the abilities the new firefox API offers.
