Scams content creators, when you click on an affiliate link of your favorite creator, they get some money from the store. But with Honey, the creator who made you buy a product didn't get any money, Honey instead swaps the referral code and sends the money to paypal, a multi billion $ company. This extension should be deleted.

Overwrites affiliate/referral links/cookies, poaching untold amounts of ad link revenue from content creators that influenced a purchase to begin with. DOES offer up customer-unique or group-exclusive codes NOT meant for public use on stores NOT partnered with Honey, costing small, independent stores significant revenue in a racketeering-like scheme.

Absolut unlautere und potenziell strafbare Methoden.

It's a lie and scam! Referral links will be replaced by PayPal referral (Honey is owned by PayPal). Yes you hear that right. This browser extension will override referral link and cookies in order to get the referral link, instead of the original referral link you might have clicked on.

Honey will also worse discount codes, since the partners can control the discount codes, to show worse discounts or nothing at all. To think there is no better deal, while there might be.

This should be illegal. How can this add-on be still active?

Then turns out it's just a straight scam, they don't find the best deals, they let the store owners restrict deals they'll present to you, and they steal affiliate revenue from people who actually refer you.
