Why would i bother installing this Addon when it's not supported/offers Discounts in Germany?

Useless. I did a search for Ikea Ladda 2450 batteries it found NOTHING on Amazon but there was clearly a cheaper seller. USELESS SNAKE OIL ADDON!

Decided to take it onto UK Amazon to see if there were bargains to be had, came up with nothing.
Tried another e-store I use, bupkis.

Someone might get benefit out of this; but all I got out of it was allowing Facebook and Google to share my personal info with yet another random business.

It has lots of promo codes but none of them ever work.

Never stays logged in and then I do not receive "honey gold" for my purchases.

This add-on is fantastic, don't get me wrong. However, on Firefox it has a SEVERE memory leak issue. Without honey installed my Firefox rarely pushes 900MB of RAM in use, with it installed it is constantly pushing upwards of 2GB of RAM in use with only a single tab open, even when Honey is in an inactive state. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Don't install Honey!! Honey has more and more problems every day. Maybe they are going out of business. Buttons disappear. Many deal prices listed on you drop down list are not actually available. Coupons rarely, if ever, work. They no longer have live chat and they don't answer emails. It's a huge headache we can all live without.

I was told it has a database of coupons that it searches its database to find you the best deals for free. I tried ebay and amazon and it has given me NO codes at all. The only thing I could find is that they will give me GIFT CARDS if I buy stuff from the site first, total bull!

i keep getting "offers" for ebay when i purchaise things. What theese "offers" are and where do they go only the Lord knows...

I applied a coupon to a purchase from honey and it turned out I was not eligible to use this coupon as you have to be a member of Active.com to receive it. Codes should not be included in searches if they are dependent on memberships.

it just takes my shipping from the most expansive to the cheapest shipping option on amazon. i know because i can do it myself and than it says there are no coupons i can use. r it says your item was 62 and it now 57, you saved $5 and i look and it was never 62, it was 57 all alone, WATCH OUT!!

For all of those times I tried to use Honey and for all of those meaningless and useless codes I have only to point to the ONE PENNY SAVINGS to show that it WORKS!

The redemption is useless to me. I want cash back, not store credits I can't use!

I had Honey installed and on one of Firefox updates it has disappeared and can't get it back. How do I reinstall so I can use on Amazon?

Completely useless if your not in USA, have not found a single code applicable to the UK, would give it 0 stars if that were possible.

Very BAD experience. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't work. MOST times it does not work. Every time I try to use it I typically spend several minutes trying to get it to work and most times I simply give up out of frustration with it.

This extension does not work for me. The only online shopping I do is with eBay, and there are *never* any codes for eBay, and even the 0.5% return thing it offers for eBay never works because all of my purchases are always excluded. This extension might be of some value to some people, but certainly not for me.

Also, I do not like that it is constantly watching what sites we visit, even in privacy mode, and phoning home with that information to see if there's a code for the site. That's a huge privacy leak.

UPDATE:

In addition to it never working, it also has no codes for any other sites (it's basically just groupon and other sites that only have useless fake or expired codes).

It also EXPIRES YOUR GOLD, so you could go a long time, slowly trying to inch towards that 1,000 gold minimum to be able to actually get ANYTHING out of Honey, but they'll delete it and force you to start over from scratch. Yes, they're so petty, they'll steal your $1.23. 😒

There's also no way to remove the affiliate that referred you to stop them from getting paid (assuming they actually do), so if you joined Honey with an affiliate link from someone who later turns out to be horrible, too bad, you'll have to either keep helping them out, or forfeit whatever honey-gold you have and delete your account. 😒

MegaLag did an exposé video showing how Honey STEALS affiliate commissions from LITERALLY EVERYBODY! On top of being useless to users, they're also THIEVES! 😠
