Mint Download Manager (MintDM) is a free, open-source download manager for Linux that uses aria2 to download files with up to 16 parallel connections per file — dramatically faster than a single-connection browser download.

Requirements
This extension requires the MintDM daemon installed on your Linux system.
Install it from the .deb or .rpm package at: https://github.com/mostafijar/mintdm
The extension does nothing without the daemon running.

Features
- Automatically intercepts downloads of ZIP, PDF, video, audio, ISO, DEB, RPM, and 40+ other file types
- Passes your browser session cookies so login-protected downloads (Google Drive, etc.) work seamlessly
- Downloads videos from YouTube, Facebook, and 1000+ sites via yt-dlp
- Organises files into category folders (Video, Music, Documents, Compressed, Programs)
- Pause, resume, and queue multiple downloads
- Right-click any link → "Download with Mint DM"
- Right-click any page → "Grab all downloadable links"

Privacy
All data stays on your machine. Cookies are sent only to the local daemon (127.0.0.1:9001) to authenticate downloads — never to any remote server.
