OfferPilots is an AI job-application copilot operated from Malaysia. This policy explains how the
OfferPilots browser extension collects, uses, stores, and transmits information.

Information handled by the extension

1. Authentication information
   The extension processes account sign-in information and stores a revocable authentication token so
   it can communicate with the user's OfferPilots account. Passwords and authentication tokens are not
   exposed to websites visited by the user.
2. Personally identifying information
   When requested by the user, the extension may process career-profile information including name,
   email address, contact details, employment history, education, skills, projects, certifications,
   profile links, and application answers.
3. Website content
   When the user explicitly chooses to capture a job page, the extension reads and transmits relevant
   job-posting content, including the page URL, company, role, location, requirements, keywords, and
   posting text. LinkedIn profile information is imported only when the user requests an import while
   viewing their own profile.

The extension does not collect general browsing history and does not crawl pages in the background.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate the user, import and maintain their career profile, capture
jobs, calculate job-match information, generate or edit application documents, and prepare interview
guidance requested by the user.

Information sharing

Relevant profile, job, or document context may be sent to Google's Gemini API for AI processing.
Google's paid API terms prohibit using customer data to train its models. Account and application
records are hosted using Amazon Web Services in the Singapore region.

OfferPilots does not sell personal information, rent résumé data, share application content with
advertisers or employers, or use advertising and behavioral-analytics trackers.

Storage and retention

Account, profile, job, document, and preparation records are retained while the user's account
remains active and as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service. Operational logs may
include IP address, browser user agent, requested URLs, timestamps, and error details and are
retained for up to 90 days.

User rights

Users may edit, export, correct, or clear profile information through OfferPilots. Complete account
deletion and privacy requests may be submitted to help@offerpilots.com. Verified deletion requests
are completed within 14 days.
