Pomolocal - Terminal Productivity Companion

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This extension requires the Pomolocal CLI application to function.

Pomolocal is a privacy-first productivity tool that helps you stay in the flow by syncing your browser with your terminal-based focus timer.

When you start a focus session in your terminal, this extension automatically wakes up and blocks distracting websites (like social media and entertainment news) to ensure you stay on task. When the break starts, access is restored.

Key Features

🍅 Seamless Sync: Automatically detects when you start a Focus Session in the terminal.
🚫 Distraction Blocking: Hard-blocks popular distracting sites (Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, etc.) during work intervals.
🔒 Privacy First: All logic happens locally. The extension communicates ONLY with your localhost (127.0.0.1). No browsing history is ever tracked or sent to the cloud.
⚡️ Lightweight: Runs silently in the background with zero impact on browser performance.

How to use

Install this extension.
Open your terminal and run: bunx pomolocal (or via npm/pnpm).
Start a timer in the CLI.
The extension badge will turn Green, and distractions will be blocked!
