    Android reliability fix. No permission changes.
    • Fixed: on Android, videos watched with captions turned off failed with "Couldn't get a transcript" even after playing for a while. The mobile player only loads caption data while captions are displayed, so the extension now turns captions on briefly during transcript capture and restores your captions setting right after.
    • The failure hint now suggests playing with captions (CC) on as the manual workaround.
    • Fixed: the Summarize button now anchors correctly on the current mobile YouTube layout, which replaced the old like-button element.
    • Fixed: a transcript captured for one video can no longer be served for a different video when you switch videos quickly.

    • Fixed: on Android, tapping Summarize after watching a video for more than 10 minutes always failed with "Couldn't get a transcript". The transcript captured at playback start was being discarded by an internal 10 minute limit; it is now kept for the whole page visit.
    • Fixed: on phones with autoplay fully blocked, tapping Summarize on a paused video no longer started playback automatically (a regression introduced with the model picker), so the transcript never loaded unless you pressed play yourself first. The tap starts playback again, as it did before.
    • The Android failure message now mentions that videos with no captions at all can't be summarized.

    Panel and Shorts update. No permission changes.
    • The summary panel is now movable and resizable on desktop: drag the title bar to move it, drag any edge or corner to resize it. Clicking the title bar still collapses it, and it remembers its spot as you browse.
    • New setting "Collapse in place": the panel folds up to just its title bar right where it sits, instead of docking to the bottom corner.
    • New setting: an optional Summarize button on Shorts (off by default), a round button in the Shorts action rail. Note: many Shorts have no captions to summarize.
