Historia wersji dodatku RosterBlur: Blur Student Names on Screen — 6 wersji
  • Zachowaj ostrożność podczas używania starych wersji! Są one wyświetlane w celach testowych i historycznych.Zawsze powinno używać się najnowszej wersji dodatku.

  • Najnowsza wersja

    Wersja 2.0.6

    Data wydania: 6 sie 2026 — 84,28 KB
    Działa z: firefox 140.0 i nowsze
Fixes only. No new features, no new permissions.
    • Grade cell blurring now works on Canvas, PowerSchool and Google
Classroom. It only ever worked when the score was the cell's own
text, and those sites wrap it, so the setting did nothing there.
    • Importing a CSV whose rows have a space after the comma no longer
garbles every name, which left the whole class unblurred.
    • Switching class period in the popup no longer gets undone by the
      options tab.
    • The tab mask now keeps the favicon hidden, not just the title.
    • "Hide tab title" is no longer offered while the presentation
shield is on, since the shield already masks every tab.
    • Clicking empty space in click-to-blur no longer blurs the whole
      page and then undoes itself.
    • Blurring survives other extensions installing a page theme.
    • Pseudonym labels read correctly on dark sites.

    Wersja 2.0.5

    Data wydania: 2 sie 2026 — 80,18 KB
    Działa z: firefox 140.0 i nowsze
Fixes only. No new features and no new permissions.
    • Blurred names, emails and ID numbers no longer come uncovered when
something else on the same line updates.
    • "Blur grade cells" now covers letter grades (A, A-, B+), not just
      percentages and fractions.
    • The options page no longer overwrites rosters or settings you changed
in the popup or captured from a page.
    • CSV import handles unrecognised column headings, "Garcia, Maria" lists,
and files saved from Excel on Windows.
    • Roster capture no longer skips students with accented names.
    • Meeting mode no longer switches itself off while a call is still open.

  • Wersja 2.0.4

    Data wydania: 29 lip 2026 — 75,86 KB
    Działa z: firefox 140.0 i nowsze
RosterBlur no longer reads password fields.

Blurring a name you have typed means reading what is in the input
boxes on the page, and until now that included password boxes. A
password shows as dots on screen, so there was never anything there
worth blurring. Password fields, hidden fields, and any field a site
marks as a password or a one-time code are now skipped outright.

Nothing was ever stored or sent, and the extension still makes no
network requests of any kind. This is hardening, not a fix for a leak.

One thing this changes for you: a student name typed into a password
box will no longer blur. It was already showing as dots.

  • Wersja 2.0.3

    Data wydania: 29 lip 2026 — 75,23 KB
    Działa z: firefox 140.0 i nowsze
Version 2.0.3 is a fixes-only release. No new features, no new
permissions, and no change to what is stored on your computer.

Names that were not blurring, and now do:
    • Names split across two elements. A gradebook that keeps the first
name in one cell or column and the last name in the next one never
showed the whole name in one place, so roster blur looked right past
it. Only the parts the name covers get blurred, so the grade in the
      next column stays readable.
    • Names with stroked or horned letters, such as Lukasz, Soren, Duong
and Dang, when your roster spells them the plain way. Those letters
carry no accent mark to strip, so the two spellings were being
      treated as two different people.
    • "Garcia, Maria Elena" used to stop blurring at "Garcia, Maria" and
      leave the middle name showing.
    • Names inside a collapsed panel, or a tab you had not opened yet.
They were skipped once and never looked at again, so they showed up
unblurred the moment you opened the panel.

    Other fixes:
    • Pseudonym labels are now fully opaque. On a page with a partly
see-through background, the real name could be read through the
"Student 3" label that was covering it.
    • CSV import handles exports that label only one half of the name,
such as "First Name, Email Address". Those used to import as
"Jordan jordan@school.edu", which matches nothing on any page.
    • Editing a roster and then the never-blur list within a moment of
each other no longer throws the roster edit away.
    • The panic hotkey (Alt+Shift+H) now works on tabs that were already
open before RosterBlur was installed or updated, instead of quietly
      doing nothing.
    • Turning on the presentation shield while a page was still loading no
longer leaves that one tab unshielded.
    • Updating RosterBlur re-arms tabs that are already open, instead of
leaving them with a copy that could no longer see your settings.

  • Wersja 2.0.2

    Data wydania: 27 lip 2026 — 72,31 KB
    Działa z: firefox 140.0 i nowsze
Bug fixes only. No new features, no new permissions.
    • Student names written with combining accent marks now blur. A name
like Jose with an accent can be stored two ways that look identical
on screen, and only one of them was matching, so rosters imported
from some CSV exports left those students visible.
    • Unmasking a tab no longer leaves it reading "Untitled" when the page
had no title of its own.
    • Elements you clicked to blur are restored after a page rebuilds
itself, instead of vanishing until you reload.
    • Fixed console errors on pages that were already open while
      RosterBlur was installing or updating.

  • Wersja 2.0.1

    Data wydania: 16 lip 2026 — 71,47 KB
    Działa z: firefox 140.0 i nowsze
RosterBlur 2.0 is the one-click release.
    • Presentation shield: press Alt+Shift+S (or the big button in the popup) before you share your screen. It masks every tab title and switches roster blur on everywhere, then shows an ON badge so you know you are covered. Title masking is free; roster name blur is the Pro half, and the button says so plainly.
    • Free 7-day Pro trial on every install, including updates from 1.x. No account, no card. When it ends, the free tools keep working like before.
    • Capture roster from the page (Pro): open your gradebook or class list, click Capture in the popup, then click the list. RosterBlur extracts the student names, shows a preview, and saves them as a roster. No more typing names in.
    • Pro keys now activate with one click on the purchase confirmation page. Pasting still works too.
    • New Pro options: natural fictional names instead of "Student 1" labels, blur student photos, blur grade cells, and a never-blur list for names that should stay visible (like yours).
    • The popup gained quick roster toggles and a count of names hidden this week.
    • Site licenses for departments and school buildings, one key for the whole team.
    • Fixed a bug where settings changes arriving in the same instant could be dropped.

Still zero network requests: rosters, settings, and your license key never leave this browser.
