Really like this addon. Something changed in permissions for Firefox addons and only the stream video is peaking through. It is it's own little sandbox separate from the other addons. A bummer, but not like I'll stop using the addon. There are other ways to get chat while they look at the issue

Chat works again, but I had to uninstall, clear cache, delete twitch cookies, restart browser, reinstall addon.

i created firefox account just to write this this review. twitch 5 is the only thing that fixed twitch buffering for me but for like a day now the chat is not working for some reason. this really a deal breaker and hampers twitch viewing experience. i urge the developer to look into this and fix it asap.
edit- i saw other reviews and see that people had this issue and fixed it by doing something related to cookies. can anybody help me with that

Does anyone know which cookies I need to make an exception for to be able to have chat work? Chat works fine if I have cookies set to always accept, but I don't want it to always accept for every website.

Edit: Fixed the cookies thing.

How comes each time I try signing in on twitch chat it just automatically signs me out and asks me to re sign in ? what am i doing wrong here?

The stream plays without any problems, but the chat stays just a grey box with the twitch icon for me. That is really sad, because the chat is half the entertainment on twitch.
Edit: Figured it out, hat to add a third party exception for the twitch cookie.
