Video Speed Controller Pro does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

What is stored: The extension saves a small amount of settings data locally on your device using the browser's storage API — your chosen playback speed for sites you choose to remember, and your Live-sync preferences (enabled/disabled, allowed delay, maximum catch-up speed). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or any third party. You can remove it at any time by clearing the extension's storage or uninstalling the extension.

Permissions:
• storage — to save your speed and Live-sync settings locally.
• activeTab — so the popup can apply your selected speed to the video in the current tab.
• Access to all sites — the extension must detect and control HTML5 video on whatever website you are watching. It does not read, collect, or transmit page content or browsing history.

Data sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties, because we do not collect any.
