working for me, thanks! Instead of 2x speed it now stops and starts the video. I'll take that a million times over 2x speed, why would anyone need quick access to 2x speed??? don't get it. Anyway, thank you for this extension!!!

does work but now if I play/pause the video using space-bar then the page scrolls down.

Tried plugin, and I don't see any functional difference in how YouTube operates. It is grayed out though in the extensions list.

The extension is meant to disable the 2x speed for when you hold down on the video with the space bar or with left click.
