A few years ago, this add-on used to be the best solution to download Youtube videos. Now it has only a few options left, at poor resolutions and poor audio rates, when it works... Too bad I have to replace it with something else, like the script "Youtube Local Downloader" for example.

As of the most recent YouTube UI Update (Thx Google), this addon no longer works. The download button doesn't appear anywhere below or around the YT video.

Unknown if the addon author will update, but use something else until they choose to update it.

Used to be an excellent app. Since about a year now, it doesn't combine video with audio anymore despite a few attempt to uninstall and reinstall. Really unfortunate.

This used to be the best add-on for downloading any video from youtube. It took a while to download, but there was nothing wrong with the video in the end, and it had no watermark or QR code or the like. But for months now it has not worked. At best, it will download the audio and video files, but it will not combine the two to give you the video you wanted to download from youtube. In short, this add-on does absolutely nothing now.

This addon must be sanctioned by youtube. It downloads at 30k, Pathetic. My other software downloads these at 2.5 megabytes. Where is the slowdown in this extension? I see a lot of mentions of not combining, that works for me most of the time. It's just that cursed slowness that is frustrating.

This addon either needs retiring or taken over by another developer, as clearly the current dev has no time to fix its bugs. Its not the first time either.

Its not combining most videos, and hasn't been for months. 1 out of 4 videos might combine, but with it downloading videos as slow as it does, who the hell will try 4 times for a successfull combine.

Other competitor addons exist, and they work on youtube + many more video sites.

It stopped combining video and audio from October 19, 2022. But the number of users is still increasing, why?

I don't even see the button appear on the toolbar and I can't install it. nothing works

8/10 times download stops unexpectedly, even at the end - after 100s of MB came in already. No file can be found. Often, cannot detect the video file. This piece of crap needs a lot of fixes before going out.

MP3 decoding does not work

Скачивает со скоростью диал-ап, т.е. 46кб/сек. По сути скачка займёт больше времени чем потребуется на сам просмотр. И если что то оборвётся, то начинать прийдётся по новой. совершенно не практично.
