YTM Playlist Exporter Autor: Winner-Timothy Bolorunduro

YTM Playlist Exporter is a lightweight utility extension that allows users to export their YouTube Music playlists to CSV or JSON files directly from the browser. No accounts, no servers, no external services, everything runs entirely client-side. I actually created it for myself as I wanted to extract my playlists from an old gmail account and start adding them to my new account without needing to switch back and forth continuously and decided to share.
- Data extraction: captures title, artist, album, duration, and playlist name for each track
- Smart file naming: downloads files with sanitized playlist names (e.g., My Playlist.csv)

How it works:
When a user visits a YouTube Music playlist page (music.youtube.com/playlist*) or their library playlists view, they can click the extension popup and choose an export format. The extension automatically scrolls through the playlist to trigger lazy-loading of all tracks, then extracts each track's title, artist, album, and duration from the page DOM. The resulting data is assembled into a CSV or JSON file and downloaded directly to the user's device.

Data handling:
The extension collects no user data. It does not communicate with any external servers, does not store anything beyond the immediate export session, and performs no analytics or tracking.
