This is an excellent extension to customize YouTube player. But it's not five stars.
Comment filtering seems to be working, but it isn't working by regex as stated: "Block videos, channels, comments, posts by name, id, keyword or regex (regular expression)."

Whilst in 2024 it was mandatory to have the reviews on the right, many of the related video recommendations are below on the left and are shown in thumbnails. The plugin is still very powerful, and turning off all but the comments has allowed me to experience a pure viewing experience again after many years. I think a lot of people have bigger monitors these days, so it makes sense to have the comments section on the right for viewing!

Comment filtering does not work. Even if it did work, the settings menu does not open in a new tab so it constantly closes and you have re-open it and navigate to the content filter page to paste the text you want to filter. It is very annoying to add multiple things at a time.

Update:Slows down youtube page loading! Fine youtube addon apart from the below mentioned issues. Rest of the ui blocking thing and others are working fine and are absolutely essential for using youtube!

Finally! An extension that actually works to remove the thousands of YT shorts from YT search. I download gymnastics videos on YouTube. Gymnastics videos are always getting removed by YouTube and when you try to search for gymnastics videos all you get is thousands of YT shorts. Not anymore!
I am going to send this developer $25 right now and then continue to donate monthly.
I hope there is a way to donate. If not, you need to set up a place where people can support your work!

none of the options work on mobile

Truly useful and works like a charm.

Only thing I would change is the extension icon/access point is always black, making it rather hard to see on the darker styled theme I have applied to my browser of choice (Waterfox G6.0.8/64-bit).

Might I suggest a quick fix? Should be pretty easy to script the app to invert the icon, so Dark Theme=white icon and vise-versa.

Other than that minor issue, this is a welcome extension that I will be keeping an eye on.

Hands down the best cleanup tool and hider for YouTube.
