Have latest version of Firefox...
Just installed Adblock Plus(12-31-17) ...
Tested it on Youtube--The main reason I got it
was to prevent preroll ads or any ads that interfere
with watching the chosen video...

It failed the test! I was so disappointed.

I immediately removed it.

Searched for alternative, found and installed AdBlocker Ultimate...

Tested it right away on Youtube...

Hooray! Worked like a charm!

Hope it will continue to do so, as I assume Adblock Plus worked well for some time.

Haben sich doch nun verkauft. Das Add-on ist nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Es block so gut wie keine Werbung mehr.
Ich bin auf uBlock Origin umgestiegen.

This is a lousy adblocker which serves ads itself. Get this instead: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

Using Firefox version 54 with Adblock version 3 or higher does not add menuitem to allow you to configure Adblock or turn it off on a per site basis. Version 2.9 still works ok

It's just a shadow of itself and is useless as a second nose.
All my own listings have gone. I cannot see longer which rules in the pre-defined downloaded listings blocked something. My own listings have gone. I can create a new own listing. WOW. I have to manually fill this crappy new own listing by hand. WOW! My own ABP2 listings have gone. ABP3 shows me on a page "38 things blocked sucessfully". WOW. But it doesn't show me which of my block-listings blocked it.. which items are blocked. The fucking site is not longer working.. and ABP3 don't let me adjust that. I just can deactivate the complete listing or ABP3 at all to get the site working again. Already said it? All my own ABP2 listings / filters, created over years, have gone.
ABP3 is made to put it somewhere where the sun is not shining. Sorry. This is just crap!
P.S.: There is no ABP in F12 > WebConsole

No longer blocks anything. "New" option, "Only allow ads without third-party tracking" is greyed out, useless. Uninstalling this waste of time.

Since the most recent upgrade, ABP is virtually impossible to use if you wish to view media of any kind without intrusive auto-loading ads. It is either off with all ads running upon launch of a web site, or on with nothing visible or accessible on the web page but some stray text. The interface is too simple and not at all intuitive with not enough customization or advanced options. Right now I just want to revert back to an older version. Please fix this or allow us to revert back to previous version.

I don't know what happened but this ADBLOCK plugin JUST SUCKS!
1) NO LONGER can you use the helper element hider.
2) NO LONGER can you VIEW BLOCKED ELEMENTS and de-select individual blocked elements for a page.
IN SHORT - THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS ADBLOCK AND ANY OTHER ONE OUT THERE!!!
There is NO BENEFIT in using this add-on over anything else - its now CRAP!

It used to be the best blocker... until recently. Where's the Blockable Items pane??? blocking ads means one has to be able to add or remove filters manually. Once a gem, now a piece of trash.

It blocks the startpage about:blank of Firefox 56.x . The new version Firefox 57 I will NOT install for the horrible unusable new design that can't be changed. So Adblock Plus became unusable for me.

The latest version is a totally garbage.

Will not allow me to block elements. I click them as I'm suppose too, the window prompt pops up but clicking add does nothing.

Adblock is a nice add-on for web browsing. but the latest version is garbage.

Fuckling deleted all my 2000+ custom filters.
Does not support element hiding now.
No updates on this for over a month.
This extension was the main reason I use Firefox instead of Chrome.
