Great alternative after Video Blocker got too slow and unstable.
My only suggestion would be to add a channel whitelist feature so channels you are subscribed to etc. won't be affected by blocked keywords. I wondered why some videos in my subscription box would show on my tablet but not on desktop.

EDIT December 2020: Several times blocked channels got through every now and then in the recommended videos section.

its work kinda but not for multiple channels for example i want to hide multiple channels in trending but its work only on one channel i used channels id and names both work only on one

Merci mille fois!

YOU SAVED ME FROM WASTING SO MANY HOURS, THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!

very first channel I added to the list is still coming through in the "related videos" side bar. This addon is crap.

thank you so much! it Works flawlessly, i can finally block all those poopy top 10 videos or reaction ones

Thank you ! it works, I can finally hide Billie Eilish channel

些細なことですがtrendingのブロックができてないみたいです

Seems to work as advertised. Can't ask for anything more. Thanks.

Finally, an extension that actually blocks various YouTube keywords, channels, etc. Thank you!

This add-on is great, I can finally block all those annoying meme and clickbait videos scattered across YouTube without having it slowing anything down. However, there's no way to block playlists regardless if you've blocked the creator of the playlist. I really hope it's possible to add something like this in an update.

hello this was a great add on(to block youtube rubbish) but now(last few days) i can not access youtube (the page keeps refreshing)

BlockTube now avoids YouTube from loading...

Also there is no way to blacklist playlists such as the "Illegal Memes" playlist.

I guess my recommended feed will be polluted with Tik Tok and Gacha Life.
