This privacy policy explains how the cshurts.com - Steam Market Exporter extension handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
This extension does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data processing happens entirely within your browser locally on your device. We do not track you, we do not sell data, and we do not use any analytics or tracking scripts within the extension.
2. Data Processed Locally
When you explicitly click "Export Trade History", the extension performs the following operations entirely in your browser:
- Reads your personal Steam Market transaction history from steamcommunity.com/market/myhistory using your existing Steam login session.
- Parses the page locally to extract Counter-Strike 2 transactions.
- Converted into a CSV file (steam_pain_history.csv).
- Saves the CSV to your local Downloads folder.
- Never sends this data to any external server automatically.
- (Optional) Fetches Steam Market price histories for individual items via Steam's API to show price estimations on cshurts.com. These requests use your existing Steam session cookies and the data is passed directly to the cshurts.com page in your browser.
3. Permissions Used
- downloads: Used to save the generated CSV file directly to your Downloads folder when you export your trade history.
- steamcommunity.com/market/*: Used to read your personal Steam Market transaction history and item price histories. Only accessed when you explicitly initiate an export or price lookup.
4. Data Collection Disclosure
We do not collect any of the following types of data:
- Personally identifiable information
