Who we are

Single purpose

The extension synchronizes the live playback latency of two specific Twitch channels (twitch.tv/azbuttler and twitch.tv/azekiavt) with the Dazle ambient lighting backend, so that smart lights connected to that backend stay in sync with the stream content. The extension has no functionality on any other website.

What data the extension processes

• Live playback latency. The extension reads the live latency value exposed by the Twitch video player (the same value Twitch shows in its built-in “Video Stats” overlay) and sends it to the Dazle backend at dazle.azekia.tv. This value is a small integer in milliseconds. It is used only to time the colour frames sent back to the extension.
• Auto-generated extension identifier. On first run, the extension generates locally a random device identifier and an asymmetric key pair. The public key and identifier are registered with the Dazle backend so the extension can authenticate subsequent connections. The private key never leaves your browser. You did not provide these values and they are not derived from any personal information.
• Local preferences. Three settings are stored locally via the browser’s extension storage: whether ambient sync is enabled, the delay mode (auto or manual), and the manual delay value in seconds. They never leave your browser.

What the extension does NOT collect

• No name, email address, age, account name, or other personally identifiable information.
• No financial, health, or authentication credentials of the user.
• No browsing history, no list of visited pages, no activity on websites other than the two Twitch channels declared above.
• No mouse position, clicks, scroll, keystrokes, or any other behavioural telemetry.
• No video frames, audio, chat messages, or other Twitch content.
• No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

How data is stored and protected

Data exchanged with the Dazle backend is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS / WSS). Authentication uses short-lived access tokens bound to the auto-generated extension key pair. The latency value is processed in memory to compute timing offsets and is not persisted server-side beyond the duration needed to serve the response.

Third parties

The extension communicates with a single origin: https://dazle.azekia.tv (and wss://dazle.azekia.tv for the real-time WebSocket). No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties, ad networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers. No data is used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. No data is used for any purpose unrelated to the single purpose stated above.

Your choices

• You can stop all data transmission instantly by toggling ambient sync off in the extension popup, or by removing the extension from your browser.
• Uninstalling the extension deletes all locally stored preferences and credentials. The registered public key on the backend becomes unused; you may request its deletion by contacting us at the email above.
