When trying to translate a webpage, it always says to try again later and never translates properly. Worst

The translation quality is poor. And you can't use Google Translate or ChatGPT. I would pay a $3 lifetime license if it had an option to include my Gpt chat API. Or $5 if it had proprietary integration with chatgpt. 5 stars if it had at least the option to switch to using Google. But it doesn't even have that.

Failed to perform translation with error message "Sorry, we couldn't translate your text. Please try again later." which defeat the whole plugin purpose...

Das Addon sorgt für einen Fehler auf der Seite "www.dominos.de" (Pizza-Lieferdienst).

Beispiel:
"www.dominos.de" aufrufen -> auf Grafik "Lieferung" klicken -> automatische Weiterleitung auf "bestellen.dominos.de/delivery-address-list".
- Addon aktiviert: Man sieht nur eine weiße Seite.
- Addon deaktiviert: Man sieht eine Eingabemaske für die Adresse.

Ich hatte testweise ein ganz neues Firefox-Profil eingerichtet, dort nichts in den Einstellungen verändert, nur das Addon installiert. Und auch mit dem Test-Profil hatte ich den Bug.

Ich überlege, ob ich das Addon deinstallieren soll, weil dieser Bug zeigt, dass das Addon wohl viel zu tief in den Browser eingreift.

Absolut nicht zu Gebrauchen keine Übersetzung funktioniert mehr ohne die Proversion!!!

DeepL is a good translator. Ever since their founder left Google and started DeepL it gave better results than its parent. During its development period DeepL worked with the community and offered great results of top notch quality. But at some point the bills need to be paid. And things were/ are locked down, put behind walls (thank you for your cooperation). This extension is no exception. It promises the excellence of DeepL... but then it never delivers. It just doesn't work with many FF configurations, often not due to your config, but because of their pressing quest to make you a paying customer. And then alternatives, that do work, become much better in that comparison, despite your superiority. But then again, maybe they just don't need us plebs (any more)...

I'm rating the add-on, not the engine. It doesn't work. I created an account (free) on deepl but it didn't help. I deleted the account. Waste of time and trouble.

It's no longer working to translate whole websites in current dev firefox. This happens regularly, not ok for a paid service (I am a paying customer).

While Arabic is available on the DeepL website, it is frustratingly absent from the browser extension. This inconsistency hinders the usability and accessibility for a significant number of users who rely on Arabic translations. As a result, I am giving this extension a one-star rating. I urge DeepL to prioritize adding Arabic support to align the extension's capabilities with those of the website and better serve their diverse user base.
