YouTube has once again broken this extension and seems to have blocked it from working on the site.

As of a couple weeks ago, embedded videos don't play and give an error "Playback on this device is not supported". Happens about 60-70% of the time. Turning off the add-on instantly fixes the issue.

Will update review after it's fixed.

Edit: Seems fixed! Updating to 5*, great features all around.

I could never go back to not using this but unfortunately the feature to automatically switch to 1440p on yt doesnt work. The only thing that switches to 1440p is if you pick a different resolution for full screen lets say 2160p and also check the option to switch back to default after exiting fullscreen. If I just load a fresh video its set at 720p and doesnt change by itself at any point during playback unless I go in full screen.

And now that im doing tests, most resolutions just dont apply automatically either. Its only the 4k one that has been reliable over the years, which has been my default for a long time.

Extension is amazing, but it sadly seems to be breaking all forms of YouTube embeds as of late (Playback isn't supported on this device). Hopefully this gets fixed despite Google's constant interfering

I've tried several alternatives and this one is by far the best. Straightforward and does the job perfectly.

Works fine but like Firefox user 12726217 said its now giving "Playback isn't supported on this device." errors or nothing at all(just a black area that you cant interact with), but it seem to mainly be on embedded videos, sometimes video works after several refreshes, but like 90% of the time it gives the playback error or its just a black area. Disabling the addon makes videos load with no issues.

Really solid extension. Clean and lightweight, fits perfectly into my workflow. Does exactly what it promises.

This add is so good ... it have so many options I need to explore them ... but basic one are doing job for me.
