- Оценено на 5 из 5от Пользователь Firefox 20068790, день назадgreat and simple addon, good old reliable
if you have troubles with displaying favicons, try to change favicon provider in HNTP settings, yandex worked best for me
it won't show up favicons for sites unreachable from the internet - cannot use firefox bookmarks cache because of firefox security restrictions
---
the only thing i would suggest - add a check if favicon loaded, and if it's not - replace it with 16*16 square with random (or maybe custom) color
i doubt it's possible with custom css, but im sure it's doable by changing the addon's code
maybe i'll try to do it later myslef - Оценено на 3 из 5от Stalda, 2 дня назадUsing in Chrome for years, now after switch to FF there is a problem with favicons, it is only showing some of them, FF itself is showing them OK, when switched to gstatic it is better, but not showing icons that google not know (local network for example).

- Оценено на 3 из 5от brandon, месяц назадI noticed my PC was sending DNS requests all day long for for sites that would be in my very very old bookmarks. Upon further investigation, I saw it was actually opening connections and sending HTTP requests to all those servers via QUIC. Constantly contacting these websites I haven't touched in years even while I'm away at work. Stopped this unsettling traffic by disabling HNTP

- Оценено на 5 из 5от Newtomic, 6 месяцев назадI use this extension for many many years, on Chromium based browsers it works a little bit better, for example the icons are seamless there, why in the Firefox based browsers the icons can't be from the bookmarks themselves?

- Оценено на 5 из 5от cheatfreak47, 3 года назадHumble New Tab Page is pretty neat.
It might not seem like much, but this is something I interact with virtually every time I'm using my internet browser, and for my tastes, a nice customized display of my bookmarks is really all I ever want when I open a new tab, other than a search bar- and the browsers address bar takes care of that.
It hasn't exactly added any new features, or had any major changes in years- but that's fine. This extension is fine to be in a maintenance mode, of sorts, development wise, because it kind of does everything I could possibly want it do for the most part.
The only non-positive thought I have is that it's not super touch-screen friendly? I guess custom CSS might be able to do some work there maybe.
So, in short, I love it! I've been using it for years, even before I switched from Chrome back to FireFox in 2019.
The only thing is that it requires you to spend a little time with it's settings menu to put together something you like, and if you can't be bothered with a little configuration, it might be best to just stick to the vanilla New Tab page.
