ivx/ai Chat is a lightweight, browser-based chat client designed for users who want total control over their data and their AI interactions. Unlike the vast majority of AI interfaces, it has no backend, no accounts, no analytics, and zero telemetry. It is a pure frontend that acts as a direct bridge between you and your chosen AI model. The app talks to the endpoint directly, meaning your conversations and API keys never pass through a third party server and stay entirely within your browser.

Privacy is enforced by the architecture. The app is built to be private by default, featuring a strict security policy that prevents the execution of external code and blocks unauthorized data leaks. You can set per chat system prompts, adjust temperature, limit max tokens, and manage history depth. You can also edit and re run messages from any point in the history, duplicate chats, and search across all your titles and message text. For data sovereignty, you can export your entire history as JSON or Markdown. Additionally, PWA support allows you to install the app to your home screen or desktop to use it as a standalone application that works offline.

Released under the GNU GPL v3.0 or later, ivx/ai Chat is free software.
