Morph — reshape any website от Mandar Wagh
Morph reshapes the web page you are already on. This is what leaves your browser, who processes it, and what is kept. Written to be accurate, not flattering.
When data is sent: only when you actively press "Morph it" (or connect an app). Never in the background.
What is sent to reshape a page: your typed instruction, a truncated DOM snapshot of the current page (tags, ids, classes, roles, and short visible-text previews — on logged-in pages these previews can include real visible content, so use Morph mindfully there), and the page URL. NOT sent: form values, password fields, cookies, localStorage, or credentials.
Who processes it: the Morph backend (Google Cloud Run), which forwards your prompt + snapshot to an LLM provider — primarily Groq (api.groq.com), with Google Vertex AI as fallback — solely to compute the reshape. No other third party receives this data.
What is stored: the backend does NOT persist your prompt, snapshot, or URL. It logs only non-reversible signals: request sizes, a one-way hash of your IP, a one-way hash of the site host, and a coarse intent bucket — never raw prompt text.
Optional telemetry: a "kept/undone" event containing only the outcome, a hashed site host, and the intent bucket. No advertising or third-party tracking.
Optional Google sign-in (not available on Firefox): if used, only a one-way hash of the Google account id and the email domain are recorded — never the email address.
Optional connectors (not available on Firefox): opt-in, per-app, require sign-in; data is fetched only for your verified identity and not persisted.
Stays local: reshapes you keep are saved as per-site recipes in your browser (chrome.storage.local) only — never uploaded or synced.
