Об этом расширении
Everything runs locally in Firefox. No analytics, no tracking, and your audio is never uploaded. Sound Adjuster is open source.
Turn up a quiet video, soften the bass, or adjust the balance in your headphones.
Sound Adjuster gives you control over audio in Firefox, with settings you can save for each site.
When you've found settings you like, turn on Remember. Sound Adjuster restores them when you return to that site. You can also save named profiles and switch between different setups for the same website.
Your controls
Settings stay active when you close the popup and apply to media added later on the same page. The controls are available in light and dark themes.
Default audio settings
A separate Settings page lets you choose the gain that supported pages start with, along with your preferred balance, equalizer preset, mono, and channel flip. Enable and save these defaults to apply them automatically. Settings remembered for a particular site take priority.
Reset returns to your saved defaults when enabled, or to standard settings otherwise.
Open Settings and exceptions from the popup menu to manage your defaults, disabled sites, and shortcuts. The page follows your selected theme and includes an option to hide the support heart.
Keyboard shortcuts
You can view your current shortcuts in Settings and choose Edit shortcuts to change them through Firefox. The popup also updates when you adjust audio with a shortcut.
Website compatibility
Sound Adjuster works with standard HTML audio and video players. Some websites use protected media or browser restrictions that limit the available controls. The popup explains when audio adjustments aren't available.
Privacy
Audio processing happens in your browser. Sound Adjuster has no analytics or tracking and does not upload your audio or settings. Saved profiles and preferences stay on your device; they are not synced. Site profiles and global defaults are not used in private windows.
Sound Adjuster is free and open source.
