Works perfectly well thus far. One click to go from 2 speaker stereo to all channels. Window opens, but all bars are empty/cant be changed and the buttons change color when clicked but that's it.

1 - Installed Nahimic
2 - Setup Surround Sound with 2 speakers, 1 wired, 1 bluetooth
3- placed the bluetooth speaker behind me
4 - installed this add on
5 - played Youtube

Things need to be checked:
- Check your OS version and the Firefox version
- Check your audio device or sound card's supported channel count and the configuration

Windows sound output set to 5.1, but Youtube Music only plays out of front 2 speakers. None of the VU meters light up, none of the buttons have any effect whatsoever, not even mute.

Nach dem Ändern des Audio-Ausgabegeräts starten Sie Firefox neu.

Are there some steps to check to make it working or to see why it is not working?

Ensure you have the physical surround setup, not using headphones or stereo speakers (whether laptop built-in or external, wired jack or wireless bluetooth) with virtualized surround effects.
Don't forget to change the configurations to 5.1 or 7.1 if your sound card supports surround sound but is previously set to stereo by default.
