This was my favorite video downloader. I keep Firefox updated, but now when I go to download a video nothing happens. It just says "Queued". It no longer works, uninstalled.

Ce module est navrant : il nécéssite d'installer une appli. et en plus il incruste un ENORME QR code dans la vidéo qu'il télécharge et te demande 18 € pour avoir des vidéo sans QR code. Il ne prévient pas avant que tu aies tout installé.

I have used this add-on without any problems in the past with earlier versions of Firefox but it doesn't work with the latest Firefox version. Disappointing.

It will not download any yt video without the need of the additional application. :(

This addon used to not include a large QR code watermark on downloaded videos. Just recently, now it does. It was nice while it lasted. The developer would do better to add a less obnoxious watermark like Hypercam. Still present in the video, but it doesn't block a significant portion of the picture.

If there is a way to download the video and audio streams without muxing them together and add the giant watermark, I didn't find it. I didn't care to look for more than a minute. I'll find something else.

If you don't pay them for "Donations" expect a huge QR code demanding donations or videos will be sabotaged with a massive "PAY TO REMOVE" QR code.

Disgusting monetization, strong-arming users into paying because they know they are popular and users are unwilling to switch to other means to download videos.

I was enjoying it but the watermark now is a killer. Make it smaller or translucent and maybe people would consider donating. The way it's setup now is like strong-arming people into donating. Also the lack of any choice of how much to donate is wrong. The other guy starts out at $10 and goes UP TO $30. I gave him $10 but now I think I'll donate some more because he never does this he just limits free users to only download 720p or lower.

If you are patient you never need one of these anyway. Before I got any downloaders I used a screen recorder to simply record the video and audio. Not promoting any brand because people will say my review is fake, but if you search around I think you'll find a good one. you pay ONCE and you can record anything all day long every day with no watermarks. If you're gonna watch the video first, you might as well record it and bypass all these downloading hurdles.

The v10.2.5.2 does not work AT ALL for firefox, why is it available? it doesn't work. VDH has always been buggy and had its ups and downs on performance issues, but to put out a update to the public that makes the product not work at all? it's need to be taken down for the time being. downloads perpetually stuck at 0kb transfer rates until they fail, videos that are only audio, using thumbnails from websites I havent used in months that have nothing to do with the videos being downloaded even after clearing cookies, what gives? V10.2.5.2 is a disaster.
