The OpenSetu browser extension ("Extension") is developed and maintained by OpenSetu.

This policy explains how the Extension handles data.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

— Browsing history

— URLs or domain names you visit

— IP addresses

— Personal information of any kind

— Device information

— Usage statistics or analytics

1. How the Extension Works

When you visit an OpenSetu domain, the Extension routes the DNS resolution request

through OpenSetu's resolver in real time. This resolution happens instantly and no

record of the request is retained. Non-OpenSetu domains are handled entirely by your

browser as normal — the Extension does not interact with them in any way.

1. No Third Party Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data

in the first place.

1. No Cookies or Local Tracking

The Extension stores only your on/off preference locally on your device using

Chrome's built-in storage API. This preference never leaves your device.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a

revised date.
