    Works on 10/13/2025 on mobile, with ublock and any other extensions for youtube, if it does not work you probably have two youtube anti translate installed, mine had that happen so I just turned off the other one now it works, thank you developer

    Thank you for the 5 stars. There is another developer maintaining the that other firefox port. They did their port well before we made this official firefox port :) But yeah if both are installed you probably get some race conditions causing issues.

    Really good, was starting to get annoyed with YT's bullshit. I did notice some bugs tho. I don't have a Github account, so I'm just gonna relay them to you here. Sometime when searching, descriptions of videos from an older search will show up instead of the right one, and starting tonight for whatever reason, titles of playlist in the My Playlist tab are "reverted back" to the title of the first video in it, which make it harderto search what I want. Otherwise I really like your extension, exactly what I wanted!

    The extension is really cool and works pretty well. The only big problem is that it prevents autoplay and bugs the play button in the video. I need to refresh the page to be able to launch the video. Problem I don't have without the extension.

    The addon does what it says on the tin! It works!

    To me, it feels dystopian that Alphabet can force people to view videos in a way that the original uploader never intended to. I refuse to tolerate hearing a freaky AI's interpretation of what someone is saying.

    (As for the comments about how embedded videos don't work, I prefer the addon stay within the scope of youtube.com. Just click the title of the video in an embed and you're brought to the site where it'll work anyway...)

    Life saver, thats all i can say, its absurd that this extension even needed to be made but works great, there is no auto translation from what i see (idk if it works on mobile and shorts but probably does too)

    I reported this a few days ago, and they already fixed it:

    "Youtube still translates titles of shorts if I use the 'No YouTube Shorts' addon to see shorts with the normal video layout."

    Now it's working everywhere.

    The translation block works as intended but the problem with the video quality being limited to 360p discourages to use it constantly. I looked at the GitHub page for the fix and that really looks annoying. Really hope you'll find a fix soon cause aside from that it's really good.

    We've been working on a solution for that issue, but while we did find a fix it breaks in some scenarios so we did not release it yet.
