Bookmrk is a local-first visual bookmark manager designed to help users organize and manage bookmarks within their browser.

Bookmrk does not require users to create an account.

Bookmrk stores bookmark-related data locally on the user's device using Firefox Extension Storage APIs.

Remote Services

Bookmrk does not use remote servers for bookmark storage, synchronization, analytics, tracking, advertising, or data collection.

No user-generated bookmark data is transmitted outside the browser.

Permissions

Bookmrk requests browser permissions solely to provide its functionality:

• bookmarks: Import and manage bookmarks.
• storage: Store bookmarks and settings locally.
• tabs: Access the active tab when saving bookmarks.
• contextMenus: Provide bookmark-saving actions from the browser context menu.
• scripting: Display save notifications and extension-related functionality.
• host_permissions (<all_urls>): Enable bookmark-saving functionality across websites.

These permissions are used exclusively to provide extension features and are not used for data collection or tracking.

Children's Privacy

Bookmrk does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy
