This add-on uses a colored icon to show whether the SSL/TLS certificate currently used by a website for its HTTPS connection is classified as trustworthy by Mozilla, only by the local computer, self-signed, or an HTTP connection. For example, it helps to identify corporate proxies, which Firefox otherwise displays with a green lock by default.
